Trip to the Tower of London!

We visited the Tower of London, as part of our learning about the Tudors, and got to see armour and weapons that belonged to Henry VIII and other monarchs.

It soon became clear that the place has quite a grisly history!

We also had the chance to become historical detectives ourselves, when we examined Tudor objects and artefacts, in order to try to work out who they might have belonged to and how various items might have been used 500 years ago!
