Spring term snaps!

As Easter approaches ... here are a few pictures capturing some nice moments from the last half term. There are a couple of our picnic on the lawn outside the Natural History Museum (indoor photos didn't come out too well!).

Then there's one of a role play activity where the class were discussing whether the expansion of the Indian city of Mysore was a good or a bad thing.
Finally, there's one of Year 4 dressed up in their 70's style outfits as part of the fundraising effort for Red Nose Day ~ a very colourful end to that week!

Examining Indian artefacts

Below are some pictures of us analysing a selection of objects as part of our India topic. We were trying to identify what these items may have been, and thinking about who might have owned or used them, and for what purpose.

Young Scientists!

Here are a few shots of us investigating insect preferences.
We collected some woodlice and then gave them the choice of different conditions, surroundings and food sources.
Some of us also monitored how sociable they were by watching to see if they stuck together or explored independently.
